Iran Wants Unconditional Talks
August 13, 2007 by pulkit
Iran’s stand-in friday prayers leader Ayatollah Rafsanjani said that Iran was ready to sit down on the negotiation table with the U.S, given that the talks are unconditional. However, the U.S has in the past reiterated that the obstinate state will have to divulge the details of its nuclear program, before any talks can begin.
The Ayatollah said tha the U.S was concocting fascinating tales about its nuclear program and intentions. He also claimed that the UN inspectors had combed Iranian nuclear facilities through the past decade, but had not found anything objectionable. The Ayatollah warned the U.S that a troubled Middle-East would hit the economies of Industrial countries hard. He talked at great length about Iraq and Afghanistan, and that Iran was willing to help rebuild the war ravaged neighbour.
It seems that when Ahmadinejad is not issuing barbaric statements warning a country about its imminent wipe-out, then his cronies try to put up a baby face and quickly climb to the top of Mt Morality.
Addressing thousands of worshipers at Tehran University Campus, Ayatollah Rafsanjani said, “Iran is always ready for negotiations and the US should retract its humiliating and unacceptable preconditions.” He added the Islamic Republic of Iran has a positive role in resolving regional problems and the important region of the Middle East should no longer be in turmoil.
