Economicsts Brazenly Remind Ahmadinejad of His Ineptitude

The 57 economists, who had earlier written an open letter to the press, decrying Ahmadinejads economic policies, remained defiant even during a meeting with the Iranian No.1. Ahmadinejad had called this meeting to project an image of an understanding and moderate leader, but the economists were in no mood to be fooled by any such gimmicks. In fact, they maintained their aggresive stance and even presented Ahmadinejad with a mouthful. They told him, without mincing any words or using any euphemisms, that he is a tactless leader with no finesse. Simply put, they told Ahmadinejad that he is a jerk not fit for the job. They did not buy impolitic Ahmadinejad’s propaganda and time and again asked for statistics to underpin his point.
“Such decisions are harmful and inexpert. The most sensitive financial institutions of the country will be weakened and in the not too distant future we will see the negative outcomes of these decisions,” they said. [source]
