An Iranian Birthday Bash For The Queen: Guests Attacked At British Embassy

Every year on 15 June, it is Queen Elizabeth’s birthday. This year, there was a magniloquent party at the British embassy in Tehran to celebrate her birthday. However, the Queen wouldn’t have been a happy birthday girl if she had been there. It is due to the fact some people were too serious about the birthday bums. Brushing asides all jokes, the Iranian guests at the party were heavily abused by protesters, who apparently weren’t there to celebrate any birthdays. These protesters not only clamored but also got a little violent. They hurled water cans, tomatoes and paintballs at the Iranian guests. I think they forgot eggs. Anyways, the police did try to beat some sense into thier heads. There were also some arrests but the damage had been done, as far as the British embassy is concerned. The British emabassy is mulling an official complaint against the truly uncivilised and execrable behaviour.
British diplomats voiced fury over the incident. “At the very least there will be a protest from the embassy to the Iranian foreign ministry, with possibly another from the Foreign Office to Iran’s embassy in London,” said one. [source]
